We Need You -- Become a Care Partners Volunteer!
Companion Volunteers share the gift of their presence by providing companionship in the client’s home, at the Care Center, or the hospital. Volunteers provide a number of key services, including:

  • Compassionate presence at end-of-life
  • On-going friendly visits
  • Phone check-ins
  • Caregiver respite

Training to Help You Succeed
Training consist of three sessions of training in palliative care, caregiving, end-of-life issues, psycho-social and spiritual dynamics and procedures.

Senior Rides Volunteers
Senior Rides Volunteers provide rides to those 60 and over for medical, wellness, and social activites to Duluth or in Cook County. Volunteers receive a 2-hour orientation and are reimbursed for mileage.

Where do I begin to thank Debi, the staff, and wonderful drivers? They all go out of their way to help people. I would not be able to go to appointments and interact with the public without this service. Thank you will never be enough.
