Have you seen our 2025 Auction Quilt in person yet?? Wonderful quilt artists Carol Morgen and Nancy Backlund have again outdone themselves – we are so grateful to them for donating their amazing talents.
This year’s quilt measures 84″ square and features the stunning yellow and green center panel “Fantasia” surrounded by piecework in purple jewel-tones with highlights of lavender, cream, and light green. The leaf-patterned quilt stitching beautifully echoes the panel’s theme.

The quilt is on display at Drury Lane Books, 12 East Wisconsin Street in Grand Marais.
Quilt raffle tickets will be available to purchase beginning in May for $5 each at Drury Lane Books, Care Partners offices, Johnson Heritage Post, and other area locations (check back for details coming soon!)
The quilt raffle drawing will be held on Saturday, August 24th about 15 minutes before the close of our Annual Ice Cream Social which takes place at Sydney’s Frozen Custard from 2-4pm.
