Care Partners is pleased to offer a free Caregiver Appreciation Retreat on Tuesday, September 16 from noon to 3pm at the Cook County Community Center, 317 West 5th Street in Grand Marais. Anyone who is providing care—whether in the home or from a distance—for a friend or family member who is aging or has a chronic illness or disability is invited to attend.
The theme for this year’s retreat is “The Gift of Play.” After a catered lunch, caregivers will be invited to experience gentle activities that can help incorporate small, joyful self-care breaks into their day.
