The season of challenging winter weather is upon us! Although our office is typically open from 10am to 3pm, Monday through Friday, we may need to close the office – or close early – due to inclement weather. Our staff are generally able to work remotely from home, and we do our best to answer calls during regular office hours even if our physical office is closed. When the weather is “iffy,” you may want to call us before dropping by to make sure someone will be here to greet you!
Also – our amazing volunteers do their best to provide services throughout the winter months. That being said, we believe the safety of volunteers and clients is our top priority, so we encourage volunteers to reschedule or postpone senior rides, chores, visits, or deliveries if they are at all concerned about hazardous driving conditions. We will do our best to reschedule Care Partners services that have been cancelled due to the weather, and we thank you for your understanding.
