Spring Chore Days 2026

Care Partners of Cook County is excited to announce our 2026 Spring Chore Days! This event connects groups or individual volunteers with older adults in our county to help with spring chores such as raking leaves, planting flowers, and general yard or garage cleanup. Projects will be scheduled for Friday, May 29 and Saturday, May 30.

This is a great opportunity for individuals, families, and groups to get better acquainted with our Cook County neighbors and support one another as we age. Volunteers will be able to choose their work shifts and projects. Civic, church, and other groups are especially encouraged to participate!

Any Cook County resident who is aged 60 or older is welcome to request assistance with a chore. Just a note that work on house exteriors (such as painting or gutter cleanout) cannot exceed one story. Although we can’t take on projects that require a building permit, we may be able to assist with simple exterior repairs. There is no charge for services, but contributions to Care Partners will be gratefully accepted.

Feel free to contact Care Partners by May 15 for more info, or to volunteer or request help with a spring chore. Call 218-387-3788, email info@carepartnersofcookcounty.org or use the button below.
