EVERYONE is welcome!
You are invited to lend a hand for Care Partners Fall 2022 Chore Days – a special effort to help our older Cook County friends and neighbors with outdoor clean-up and winter prep projects. Volunteers may be asked to help with tasks like raking, exterior painting, garden cleanup, or firewood stacking.
Workers are invited to sign up for one or more of the following shifts:
- Monday, October 3 – 3:30 to 5pm
- Saturday, October 8 – 9am to noon
- Saturday, October 8 – 1 to 4pm
- Rain date: Sunday, October 9, 1pm to 4pm
Feel free to encourage family, friends, and neighbors to sign up, too! You can let us know if there are any types of tasks that won’t work for you. We’ll let you know about specific projects as we get closer to the event. Are you aware of a senior who may benefit from a helping hand in the fall?
