Care Partners of Cook County envisions a community that is fully supported to navigate through our shared journeys of aging and end-of-life. We collaborate with other aging service providers and across the community to support well-connected, accessible aging services. Care Partners also supports efforts and programs to engage and educate the community to be age-friendly and age-wise.

Ongoing events & gatherings include:

  • Lunch & Learn, a monthly series presented with Cook County Higher Education designed to support aging well in our community.
  • Memory Café, a safe and welcoming space for people who are living with memory loss and those who are caring for them.
  • Reframe Aging Monthly Roundtable, an open conversation around aging held at Cook County Higher Education, with discussion prompted by our book of the month – but all are welcome, whether or not they’ve read the book.
  • Connecting Caregivers, a casual monthly gathering for anyone who is caring for an older friend or family member, near or far.
  • Dementia Friends, a one-hour informational session designed to help community members learn more about dementia, what it’s like to live with the disease, and how to turn their understanding into action.
