Spring Chore Days 2024

Care Partners of Cook County is pleased to announce our 2024 Spring Chore Days! This event connects groups or individual volunteers with older adults in our county to help with spring chores such as raking leaves, planting flowers, and general yard or garage cleanup. Projects will be scheduled for Thursday, May 9 – Saturday, May 11.

This is a great opportunity for individuals, families, and groups to get better acquainted with our Cook County neighbors and support one another as we age. Volunteers will be able to choose their work shifts and projects. Civic, church, and other groups are especially encouraged to participate!

Any Cook County resident who is aged 60 or older is welcome to request assistance with a chore. Just a note that work on house exteriors (such as painting or gutter cleanout) cannot exceed one story. Although we can’t take on projects that require a building permit, we may be able to assist with simple exterior repairs. There is no charge for services, but tax deductible donations will be gratefully accepted.

Feel free to contact Care Partners by April 15 to find out more! Call 218-387-3788, email info@carepartnersofcookcounty.org or use the button below.
