Trained volunteers provide rides for those 60 and over in Cook County and to Duluth when Arrowhead Transit or family and friends aren’t an option.
Includes rides for:
- Medical, personal, and wellness appointments in Cook County
- Medical and eye appointments in Duluth
Clients are asked to share in the cost of their rides by making a suggested donation determined from a sliding fee scale based on monthly income. This cost share ranges from .08 cents to .55 cents per mile. For example, the cost share for a 200-mile round trip to Duluth may be between $16.00 and $110.00 depending on client income. The suggested cost share for short in-town rides is $3.00 per ride, regardless of income.
Senior Rides clients receive a letter at the end of the month calculating their cost share, but please know that Care Partners is pleased to provide these services whether or not a contribution is made. We trust that our clients value these services, and will contribute as they are able, when they are able.

Become a Volunteer Driver!
Help those 60 and over remain independent by becoming a volunteer driver. Volunteers are reimbursed for mileage, choose their assignments and feel good knowing they are helping others.
